Nearly 2,500 kids march down Center Street to show their pride in America — a 45-minute parade with marching bands, public-safety meet-and-greets, and a treat at the finish.

The Children's Parade is one of the most beloved family traditions of America's Freedom Festival, with nearly 2,500 young participants marching to celebrate American heritage. The parade begins at 800 East Center Street and ends near the county complex at 100 East, lasting about 45 minutes. Children are grouped by category and accompanied by the Provo and Timpview High School marching bands, and they receive a treat at the end. Staging runs from 9:30 to 10:30 AM on a first-come, first-to-march basis. No skateboards or motorized vehicles are permitted.
