About Provo.com

Built by people who live here, for people who live here.

What Is Provo.com?

Provo.com is a local city guide built for the people who actually live here — residents, students, newcomers, and anyone who calls Provo home. We publish in-depth guides to neighborhoods, restaurants, outdoor adventures, student life, and everything else that makes this city tick.

Our goal is simple: be the most useful, honest, and comprehensive resource for life in Provo. Not a directory of every business in town. Not a tourist brochure. A genuine guide from people who know the city, written for people who want to get the most out of it.

Our Editorial Approach

Every article on Provo.com is researched, written, and regularly updated by our editorial team. We live in Provo and Utah Valley — we eat at the restaurants we recommend, hike the trails we review, and navigate the same neighborhoods, schools, and services we write about. That firsthand experience is the foundation of everything we publish.

We don't publish sponsored content disguised as editorial, and our recommendations are based on genuine experience — not who pays us the most. When something is sponsored or an advertisement, we label it clearly. Our restaurant rankings reflect where we'd actually take a friend, not which owner bought us dinner.

We believe local content should be genuinely useful, not keyword-stuffed filler. If an article doesn't help you make a better decision about where to live, eat, or spend your time in Provo, we don't publish it.
