Utah Valley Marathon, Half Marathon, 10K & 5K

Provo Canyon to downtown Provo · Provo
When Sat, Jun 5 · 6:00 AM start Where Provo Canyon to downtown Provo Cost Tiered registration; price rises on a published schedule through race week

The Utah Valley Marathon returns on Saturday, June 5, 2027 — a USATF-certified Boston qualifier that starts in Provo Canyon and drops roughly 1,444 feet to a downtown Provo finish.

The valley's biggest running event, and one of the few races people fly in for. The marathon course runs down Provo Canyon on US-189 and finishes downtown; the half covers the second half of the same course. Both are USATF certified and the marathon is a Boston qualifier.

A note on the organizer's own wording: its marathon pages describe the race as the first Saturday in June while one half-marathon page describes the half as the second Saturday. June 5, 2027 is the first Saturday, and it is the date the organizer publishes on every page. The date is carried here; the descriptive phrasing is not.

Registration is tiered and rises on a published schedule, so the entry price depends entirely on when you sign up. No single figure is quoted here for that reason.
