Utah County Fair & Rodeo
Utah County's flagship late-summer event returns to the Spanish Fork Fairgrounds July 29–August 1, 2026, with livestock shows, a rodeo, a demolition derby, concerts, carnival rides, and classic fair food.
Once the Fourth of July and Pioneer Day are behind us, the Utah County Fair & Rodeo is the county's next big gathering — the classic end-of-summer fair, held at the Spanish Fork Fairgrounds from Wednesday, July 29 through Saturday, August 1, 2026. It's everything you'd expect from a traditional county fair, at Utah County scale.
When to Go
The fair runs four days with these daily hours:
- Wednesday, July 29 — 4:00 PM to 10:00 PM
- Thursday, July 30 — 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM
- Friday, July 31 — 12:00 PM to 10:00 PM
- Saturday, August 1 — 10:00 AM to 10:00 PM
Saturday is the longest day and typically the busiest, so if you want the full experience with a little more breathing room, a weekday afternoon can be the sweeter spot.
What to Expect
The fair blends agricultural tradition with midway fun: livestock shows and exhibits, a rodeo, a demolition derby, carnival rides, concerts and live entertainment, vendor booths, and the fair food that only seems to taste right in late July. It's a genuinely all-ages event — a good outing for families, and a slice of Utah County heritage for newcomers still getting to know the area.
Tips
- Check the schedule before you go. The rodeo, derby, and concert times are set within the fair week; confirm them (and any ticketing) on the fair's site so you don't miss a headline event.
- Plan for heat, then cooler evenings. Early-August afternoons in the valley are hot; bring water and sun protection, and a layer for after sunset.
- Bring some cash. Vendors and food booths tend to move faster with it.
- It pairs with a big week. The fair overlaps the tail end of a packed stretch — Spanish Fork's own Fiesta Days wraps just before, and Springville's World Folkfest runs the same weekend nearby.
For the rest of what's happening around the valley, see the Provo events calendar. Confirmed dates, hours, and ticketing are on the Utah County Fair site.
