Interactive Tool 34 leagues in 5 cities City pages checked October 20, 2026

The registration window closes weeks before the first game, and every city keeps its own calendar. When this finder was built, Provo's winter basketball league was taking teams until October 29 for a November 30 start, Lehi's 2027 men's basketball league was open to Lehi residents and opens to everyone on November 1, and Orem's fall basketball league was already full. Each city posts its adult leagues on a different page, usually tucked under the youth programs, so this finder reads all five and works out from the posted dates whether a league is open, coming up or finished. Where a city publishes only its usual pattern and no dates, the card says so.

How to read a card

Registration open means today falls inside the sign-up window the city posted. Opens gives the first day you can register. Closed, season starts means the deadline has passed but play has not begun; cities sometimes take a late team if a division is short, so a phone call is still worth making. Season over means the posted season has ended and, when we checked on October 20, 2026, the city had not posted the next one. Orem's pages, for instance, say "check back later for 2027 sign ups."

Springville and Spanish Fork describe their leagues by pattern rather than by date: "registration begins in September," "games start in late October." Those cards show the pattern word for word and no year, because rolling last year's dates forward is how wrong dates end up on calendars. Springville's coed volleyball page is a live example: it lists games on Tuesdays starting June 25, and June 25 was a Tuesday in 2024, not 2026.

What the fees cover

Almost every fee here is per team, not per player. Provo's volleyball league is $300 a team for ten games and a tournament; Lehi's men's basketball league is $870 for a team of residents and $1,305 for a team that is not. The individual sign-ups are priced per player: $45 for Provo's pickleball ladder, $49 for Orem's round robin, and $26 or $68 a session for Orem racquetball depending on whether you hold a fitness center pass.

If you do not have a team

Start with the individual leagues, then ask the recreation office for its free-agent list; teams one player short call the city looking for people. Students get cheaper, better-organized games through BYU and UVU intramurals. If the point is meeting people as much as playing, meeting people after 30 explains why a weekly league works when other things do not.

Cities not in the finder yet

American Fork, Pleasant Grove, Saratoga Springs, Eagle Mountain, Payson and the smaller cities also run adult programs, but their pages did not give league details we could read and verify on October 20, 2026, so they are left out rather than guessed at. If you play in one of them, send us the page and we will add it.
