Twice a year, on the first weekends of April and October, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints holds general conference: four two-hour sessions of talks broadcast from the Conference Center in Salt Lake City. In Utah Valley it reshapes the whole weekend. Regular Sunday services pause, families watch from home, and the valley goes quiet during session hours.
This page collects our recap of each session. Every recap covers each talk in the order it was given: what the speaker taught, the story or scripture it rested on, and where the session touched Provo and the valley. Each one names its sources, and the Church publishes the full text, audio and video of every talk on its general conference pages.
