Fireworks & Parade Finder

The Fourth of July and Pioneer Day shows and parades across Utah County, when they ran, where people watch, and where you may legally light your own.

2027 schedules are not yet announced. No city had published 2027 dates or times when we checked on October 20, 2026. Every listing below is from 2026 and says so. Under current state law the 2027 discharge windows are again July 2 to 5 and July 22 to 25.

Showing all 13.

Where people watch

Viewing spots for each show are under "What the sources say" on its card. Three points from our guides apply to every one of them:

When you can legally light fireworks in Utah

The dates and hours are set by state law, Utah Code 53-7-225, and they are the same in every city. Cities cannot change the calendar; they can only close mapped areas.

Restricted zones by city

Each city decides where fireworks are closed inside its limits, and the lines can change every summer. This is what each city's own page said when we read it on October 20, 2026, or what our July 1, 2026 story reported where a city page could not be opened. Check your city's current page before you buy anything.

Provo

2026: Personal fireworks were banned everywhere in the city through July 5, 2026, and again through July 25, 2026. Provo said it designated no special discharge areas.

Map: Neither city notice links a restricted-area map, and the State Fire Marshal's directory lists no Provo link.

The fire chief's notice describes the closed areas as the northeast foothills (aimed at keeping fireworks 1,000 feet from the Forest Service boundary) and areas west of the railroad tracks.
