Every idea here is one we have already written up, with the Monday hours, the age rules and the price we could confirm. The generator does not invent activities; it picks from our family home evening guides (the 52 ideas for the year, the twelve month pages, and the pages for toddlers, teenagers, service and YSA groups) and shows the guide's own words for each one. When a guide pairs an idea with a lesson, you get the lesson. When it does not, the card says so and leaves the lesson to you, which is how most families do it anyway.
Every idea that matches
What the filters mean
Who is coming. An idea is tagged for an age only when its guide says so: the toddler page's pairings, the teenager page's list, the YSA page's roommate ideas, and the places with written age rules, like Tabitha's Way (volunteers at least 12, an adult with anyone under 16) and Habitat for Humanity (16 on a build site). Ideas no guide ties to an age still appear, below the tagged ones, marked "no age given." A museum is fine for most ages; we just do not claim it.
Budget. "No admission to pay" means the guide says the place is free (the Bean Museum, the BYU Museum of Art, the Springville Museum of Art's Monday night, the libraries, splash pads) or the idea happens at home or on a sidewalk. Places whose guide gives no price are left out of that setting, because we could not confirm they are free.
Month. The month starts on the current one. Ideas tied to a date, like the Springville Sunset Farmers Market (Mondays June through October), conference Mondays or December's longest night, only appear in their months. Everything else appears all year. A few ideas are holiday-Monday day trips, and the card says so.
The treat. Drawn from FHE treats: the Utah Valley classics and where to buy them, with the Monday hours that guide lists from Google's listings. With no admission to pay, the treat is one you make at home.
Where to go next
The full list, in order through the year, is 52 family home evening ideas in Utah Valley. If your activity turns out to be closed, the Monday problem lists what shuts on Monday night and what stays open. For a holiday Monday, use FHE on the road or the Day-Trip Picker. Temple grounds, the library and the free museums each have a page of their own in the Faith & Community hub.
Hours, prices and dates are copied from each guide as it stood on October 20, 2026, and the page will not build if a guide changes and this tool does not. Monday hours shift on holidays and school breaks; call ahead. If something here is wrong, tell us.
