Directory + Newsletter · One product

Be in the directory people read, and in the email they opted into

Two placements, bought once. A native sponsored card in your category on a Provo.com directory — the page someone lands on when they are already looking for what you do — plus the single sponsor slot in an issue of The Provo Weekly. Same business, two moments.

What you get

The two halves, and why they work together

A directory card catches demand that already exists — someone searching for a roofer, a florist, a mover. A newsletter slot creates demand that does not yet exist, in front of people who chose to hear from us. Most local advertising does one or the other. This does both, and it is priced as one thing.

1. Your directory listing

$99/ month
  • Native sponsored card in your category
  • Choose Home Pros or Wedding Vendors
  • Your headline, pitch and a direct link to your site
  • Sits under the editorial guidance for your trade, not above it
  • Runs 30 days — renew anytime, no contract
  • Always labeled “Sponsored”
Who this suits

And who it does not

It suits a business with a clear category and a real service area. A Utah Valley HVAC company, a wedding photographer, a moving company, a pest control operator — anyone whose customer starts by searching a trade and a place. The directory card is there at the moment of search; the newsletter slot puts the same name in front of people before they need you, which is when a local business is actually chosen.

It does not suit a business looking for an endorsement. Our editorial recommendations are researched and verified and are never for sale, in either half of this bundle. A paid card sits below the guidance for that category and is labeled Sponsored; a newsletter slot is labeled Presented by. If what you want is to be named in a guide as a pick, this is not that product and no amount of money makes it that product.

It does not suit anyone who needs a guaranteed impression count this month. See the paragraph above about the newsletter. The directory half we can talk about concretely; the newsletter half is a founding rate on something that has not shipped, and we would rather lose the sale than dress that up.

Tell us the business and the category and we will come back with what the two halves look like together. No commitment — it starts the conversation.

Buying just one half? The full rate card lists every placement separately, and the wedding directory listing is self-serve here. How we label paid placement is set out in our advertising disclosure.
