BYU's Spring Term 2027 starts five days after Commencement, with a much smaller student body than the fall and winter semesters.
Spring Term is the quiet half of BYU's year. Enrollment drops sharply, campus empties out relative to the fall, and Provo becomes noticeably easier to move around in.
For residents this is the start of the good months: parking is available, restaurant waits are short, and the canyon is opening back up.
