Taylorsville Dayzz is Taylorsville's summer festival: three days in late June at Valley Regional Park, in the middle of the Salt Lake Valley floor, with a parade, a carnival, a petting zoo, food booths, concerts, a 5K, a car show and fireworks. Admission and entertainment are free, and 2026 was its 30th year. From Utah Valley it is about fifty minutes up the road, and its headliners, all tribute acts in 2026, make it an easy evening out for families.
The three days
Taylorsville Dayzz runs Thursday to Saturday. The 2026 festival, on June 25, 26 and 27, opened on the Thursday afternoon, and each evening had its own headliner on the main stage:
- Thursday: Always, Adele, an Adele tribute
- Friday: the Bay Area Bee Gees
- Saturday: Abbacadabra, an ABBA tribute, at 7:30 p.m.
Other acts filled the stage before the headliners, and the carnival, petting zoo and food booths ran alongside.
Saturday, the full day
Saturday carries most of the festival. The 2026 schedule ran like this:
- 7 a.m.: the 5K, followed by a kids' run at 7:45
- 9 a.m.: the parade
- 11 a.m.: entertainment, the car show, food and craft booths, pony rides, the petting zoo and the carnival
- 7:30 p.m.: Abbacadabra
- 8:30 p.m.: skydivers
- 10 p.m.: the fireworks finale
The parade
The Saturday parade is the festival's morning centerpiece, a hometown parade in a city that sits in the middle of the Salt Lake Valley floor. It stepped off at 9 a.m. in 2026, two hours before the park's daytime program began at 11.
The park
Valley Regional Park is one of Salt Lake County's big regional parks, formally Gary C. Swensen Valley Regional Park, at 5100 South 2700 West. On the Saturday it holds everything at once: the main stage, the carnival, the car show, pony rides and the petting zoo, and then the crowd that stays after dark for the skydivers and the fireworks.

Practical notes
- It is free. Budget for food and carnival rides.
- Saturday is the day to go if you can only choose one: the parade in the morning, the skydivers and fireworks at night.
- Come back after dark. The skydivers drop at 8:30 and the fireworks start at 10.
- Check the year's dates. The festival falls in late June, Thursday through Saturday.
