Stop one: Draper's 12300 South, the last exit cluster
This is the densest stretch for a dinner stop on the drive south: seven sit-down or counter restaurants on 12300 South and Draper Parkway, within about a mile of each other. Downtown Provo is roughly 32 to 37 minutes away from here.

- Spitz is open daily from 11 a.m., until 9 p.m. Sunday to Wednesday and 10 p.m. Thursday to Saturday, and sits at Google's lowest price level.
- Basta Pasteria opens at noon Monday to Thursday and 11 a.m. Friday and Saturday, closes at 9, and is closed Sunday.
- Pork N Roll runs 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. weekdays, 9 p.m. Friday and Saturday, and 7 p.m. on Sunday.
- OAK Wood Fire Kitchen is open 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. weekdays, 10 p.m. Friday, and 10:30 a.m. to 10 p.m. on weekends, the latest Sunday on this stretch.

- Hash Kitchen is a daytime kitchen, 7 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. weekdays and to 4 p.m. on weekends, so it is a morning stop rather than a dinner one.
Cultivate Craft Kitchen, a few blocks further east at 12234 Draper Gate Drive, Suite 105, is the sit-down dinner of the Draper group: 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday to Thursday, until 10 Friday, dinner only from 5 to 10 on Saturday, closed Sunday. About 37 minutes from downtown Provo.
Stop two: Sandy's State Street, near the stadium and the theater
If your evening was at the Hale Centre Theatre in Sandy or at America First Field, these are the closest stops on this list, on State Street in Sandy, about 37 minutes from downtown Provo.
- Slackwater Sandy, 10290 South State Street. The Sandy location of the pizza restaurant that also has a store at Provo's Riverwoods. Open 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Monday to Thursday, 11 on Friday and Saturday, and 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Sunday.
- Super Chix, 10431 South State Street. A chicken-sandwich, tenders and frozen-custard counter, open 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. daily (10 p.m. Friday and Saturday). The quick option on State Street.
- Sunday's Best, 10672 South State Street. A brunch restaurant, 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. weekdays and 4 p.m. on weekends, Sunday included.
Stop three: 9400 South and 700 East, the east-side dinners
These sit east of I-15 in Sandy, about 41 to 43 minutes from downtown Provo. Worth it when dinner is the plan rather than a stop.
- Tiburon, 8256 South 700 East. The dress-up dinner of this page; Google lists it in the upper price range. Dinner nightly, 5 to 9 p.m. (9:30 Friday and Saturday), Sunday included.
- Scelto, 849 East 9400 South. An Italian dinner room, 5 to 9 p.m. Monday to Saturday, with Sunday brunch from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. and no Sunday dinner.
- Tin Roof Grill, 9284 South 700 East. An American grill and family restaurant, 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. weekdays, 10 p.m. Friday and Saturday, opening at 9 a.m. on Saturday and Sunday.
- Localz Bistro, 1850 East 9400 South. Lunch and dinner Tuesday to Friday, 11 a.m. to 9 p.m.; dinner only, 4 to 9 p.m., on Saturday and Sunday; closed Monday. The furthest east of the list, about 43 minutes from Provo.
