American Fork High attendance area
Which neighborhoods attend American Fork High, the cities it draws from, and the junior high, middle and elementary schools inside its boundary, worked out from Alpine School District's own attendance map. Boundaries change; confirm any address with the district before you buy or sign a lease.
The school
American Fork High, 510 North 600 East, American Fork, 801-610-8800. It is in Alpine School District, which dissolves on July 1, 2027; by the city lines the new districts follow, this area's schools pass to Aspen Peaks School District. Its attendance area covers about 19.5 square miles of land. School website.
The cities it draws from
How much of each city's land lies inside the American Fork High boundary. A city at 100% sends every address here. A lower figure means part of the city goes to another high school, or is land outside any attendance area such as the lakeshore or the foothills, so check the address.
| City | Share of the city in this area | District from July 2027 |
|---|---|---|
| American Fork | 99% | Aspen Peaks School District |
| Highland | 25% | Aspen Peaks School District |
| Pleasant Grove | 16% | Timpanogos School District |
| Cedar Hills | 49% | Aspen Peaks School District |
| Lindon | 8% | Timpanogos School District |
Shares are of land area, sampled on a grid of about 130 meters, from UGRC's Utah Municipal Boundaries and the district map. Unincorporated county land is not listed.
Schools inside the boundary
Junior high, middle and elementary schools whose own attendance areas lie at least partly inside the American Fork High area (15% or more of their land). This is an overlap of the district's maps, not the district's official feeder list; a school that is split can send some students to another high school.
| School | Level | Share of its area inside |
|---|---|---|
| American Fork Jr | Junior high or middle | 100% |
| Mountain Ridge Jr | Junior high or middle | 51% |
| Greenwood Elementary | Elementary | 100% |
| Legacy Elementary | Elementary | 100% |
| Shelley Elementary | Elementary | 100% |
| Barratt Elementary | Elementary | 96% |
| Forbes Elementary | Elementary | 96% |
| Deerfield Elementary | Elementary | 77% |
| Freedom Elementary | Elementary | 47% |

Confirm an address
Type the address into our school district finder, which reads the same maps, then confirm with Alpine School District's boundary map. Districts redraw lines, and a new subdivision can be assigned to a school before the map catches up. Our school boundaries guide explains open enrollment if you want a different school.
