Lions Park is one of the big sports parks on Provo's northwest side, 15 acres in the Rivergrove neighborhood with a baseball field, a softball field, a soccer field, horseshoe pits and a sand volleyball court. It is also one of the two big parks our pavilion guide points people to first.

Using the park
The reservable pavilions have power and lights, and the park adds a playground, picnic tables, restrooms and a 46-space lot. Photographers have noticed the pavilion, whose white roof sweeps up at both ends like wings and which one caption calls "not an alien spacecraft," and on a clear day the playground looks straight across the valley to Mount Timpanogos. A small canal runs near the park, crossed by a footbridge.
