West Park is a two-and-a-half-acre neighborhood park in the Fort Utah neighborhood, the west-side area named for where Provo started in 1849. It has a basketball court, a playground, restrooms and a reservable pavilion with power and lights.

Using the park
There is no off-street lot in the city's data. About 0.4 miles from the Geneva Road Trailhead, it is the next restroom stop for riders on that stretch of the Provo River Trail after Fort Utah Park, whose restrooms are due to be replaced in its rebuild.
Near the first fort
The site of the original Fort Utah, where the settlers started building in the spring of 1849, is only about 0.2 miles from the park, and Fort Utah Park, with its 1937 marker and replica fort, is close by. The neighborhood around both is a settled west-side family area of modest homes and wide streets.
