Sundance Resort Weddings: Eight Mountain Venues From a Lift-Served Cabin to an Aspen Meadow, and the House Rules on Food, Alcohol and Planners

Weddings at Sundance in Provo Canyon: Bearclaw Cabin, Mandan Summit, Elk Meadows, the Rehearsal Hall and more, food supplied by the resort, alcohol bought only from the resort, and a planner rule.

Sundance Mountain Resort, about 15 miles up Provo Canyon, hosts weddings in eight settings that run from a log cabin you reach by chairlift to a meadow ringed by aspens and a 4,200-square-foot hall. It handles food and alcohol in-house and expects a planner for bigger weddings. All details are from Sundance's own weddings pages as checked on October 20, 2026.

Sizes run from an 800-square-foot log cabin to a 4,200-square-foot hall. The weddings page did not list capacities or prices; ask the wedding specialist for both, and for which venues work in which season. The resort notes that summer is its busiest season.

House rules

Lodging and the rest of the weekend

Guests can stay at the Inn (63 rooms), the cottages or the mountain homes, and the resort's outdoor soaking complex, The Springs, is open to lodging guests. Our Sundance resort guide and Sundance in summer cover the resort; for staying on as a honeymoon, see Utah honeymoons within four hours.

On a temple day

Sundance is about 25 minutes from downtown Provo, so a morning sealing at the Provo City Center Temple can be followed by a canyon luncheon or an evening reception. Other mountain and resort venues are in our Utah Valley wedding venues guide.
