Five plasma collection centers sit within a few miles of the Provo–Orem line, with more in Spanish Fork and American Fork. For a metropolitan area this size, that is a striking amount of collection capacity, and it is not a coincidence.

Plasma centers cluster around universities. Orem carries three more within a short drive: a Grifols center and a BioLife Plasma center, both on University Parkway near the mall, and ABO Plasma on North State Street. Because these are separate companies rather than branches of one, their compensation structures, appointment systems and screening details differ from each other.

Further out, Spanish Fork and American Fork each have a center, which matters mainly for the residency rule: most centers require donors to live within a defined radius, so the nearest center to your actual address is generally the one that will take you.

A note on choosing between them. The local review record — and there are thousands of reviews across these centers — divides fairly consistently along a single axis: speed versus payment. Donors describe one company as quicker and another as paying better, and the sensible reading is that this is a real trade-off rather than a quality difference.
