Sherwood Hillside Park opened in 2008 in Sherwood Hills, the northeast shoulder of the city where our neighborhood guide says Provo runs out and the canyon begins, a low-density neighborhood of big views close to where US-189 turns into Provo Canyon.

Using the park
It has tennis courts, a playground, grills, a path, restrooms and a reservable pavilion without power. It is also the nearest park with restrooms to the Indian Road Trailhead on the Bonneville Shoreline Trail, about a mile away.

Sherwood Hills is low-density and big-view, and it is one of three neighborhoods, with Riverbottoms and North Timpview, covered by the city's proposed Northeast Neighborhoods Plan.
