Indian Road Trailhead is a small foothill access point for the Bonneville Shoreline Trail at the north end of Provo, on Canyon Road near the mouth of Provo Canyon in the North Timpview neighborhood. It is a place to start a hike rather than to spend a day: under an acre, with picnic tables and portable toilets.

Before you go
There is no pavilion and no permanent restroom; the nearest are about a mile away at Riverview Park and Sherwood Hillside Park. Along the foothills the Shoreline Trail follows the ancient bench left by Lake Bonneville, and our trail guide covers where it runs and where to join it farther south.
The trail from here
The Bonneville Shoreline Trail follows the old shoreline bench along the foothills for much of the Wasatch Front; in Provo its main access points are at Rock Canyon, Y Mountain and Slate Canyon, with this small trailhead at the north end near the canyon mouth.
