Student discount lists rot. A place changes owners, a promotion ends in July, a rate quoted in one guide gets copied into ten more for years. This board is the fix: 25 live deals across 7 categories, each one carrying the day it was last confirmed, each one dropping off automatically when that date gets old. Every row has a verified-on date. That is the day a person on this site last confirmed the deal with the business or a primary source. Rows seeded from our student discounts guide carry that guide's last review date until they are re-checked individually.
Stale deals leave the board. A row with no explicit end date and no verification inside the last 365 days is pulled at build time into the re-verification queue at the bottom. A row with an end date leaves the day after it passes. Nothing here is older than it says it is.
Who it is for is stated, not assumed. "Student discount" in this valley sometimes means any student ID, sometimes one specific school, and sometimes a .edu email with no campus involved. Each row says which. Carry the physical card; a phone photo is accepted at some counters and declined at others.
Prices are hedged on purpose. Where a row quotes a figure, it is the figure our source carried on the verified date. Ask before you order.
Getting around
UTA — buses, UVX, TRAX, FrontRunner
Ride free systemwide. A current BYU or UVU ID is a full UTA pass; tap on and off at the readers. Spouses and dependents are covered through each school's dependent-ID program.
Note: Confirmed 2026-09-01 against uvu.edu's transit-pass FAQ; UVU requires enrollment in at least one credit hour. Ski bus and paratransit are excluded.
Provo bike share
Free 30-minute rides with a .edu email registration; docks downtown and near both campuses.

Free. If you run a business in Utah Valley and offer a student rate, tell us the terms and we will confirm them with you before the row goes up. Students can submit too — we verify with the business either way, so a deal you heard about second-hand is fine to send. Nothing is published straight from this form.
Featured deals
A featured deal is a paid pin to the top of its category, marked as featured and disclosed as paid. It does not change the rules above: a featured row still needs a verified-on date and a source, and it expires like any other. The tier is defined but not yet on sale; when it is, it will be an add-on to the Featured Partner product. No row on this board is featured today.
