BYU's 2027 football schedule isn't fully out yet, but most of it is already known. The Big 12 set BYU's conference opponents years in advance, and BYU has announced its nonconference games. The headline for Provo: Utah comes to LaVell Edwards Stadium in 2027, after this season's game in Salt Lake City.
Dates for the conference games haven't been announced. Here's everything that's public as of Nov. 7, 2026.

That's six home games and six road games on the list so far. The Big 12 opponents come from the conference's four-year scheduling matrix for 2024 to 2027, announced Nov. 1, 2023, as reported by KSL. The nonconference games come from a September 2024 KSL report on BYU adding four future series.
The Holy War comes back to Provo
The BYU-Utah game is one of four in-state rivalries the Big 12 guarantees every season, and it alternates sites. Utah's own 2027 schedule page lists the game as Utah at BYU, with no date yet. If you're planning a trip around it, watch for the Big 12's schedule release.
Three nonconference games, two at home
- Weber State, Sept. 4, in Provo. The season opener, against the Ogden school.
- At Cal, Sept. 11. A road trip to Berkeley.
- Oregon State, Sept. 25, in Provo.
KSL's 2024 report also noted BYU canceled planned series with Army and Ole Miss in the same reshuffle. An older matrix list had included SMU among BYU's 2027 nonconference games; the September 2024 report doesn't list it, so treat it as not on the schedule unless BYU says otherwise.
When the dates come
The Big 12 releases conference dates separately from the opponent matrix. For comparison, BYU and the Big 12 announced the 2026 schedule on January 21, 2026. Kickoff times and TV networks come later: the 2026 release said they "will be announced later in the year" by the Big 12's TV partners, ESPN, FOX and TNT Sports.
Dates can also move after release. In April 2026 the league moved one of BYU's 2026 Big 12 home games from a Saturday to a Friday night for TV.
