Franklin Park is one of Provo's newer parks, opened in 2017 in Franklin South, the older, more affordable neighborhood southwest of downtown that sits closer to I-15 than most of the city. It is built around a soccer field, with a playground and a pavilion on the side.

Using the park
The reservable pavilion has power and lights, and the 103-space lot is generous for a five-acre neighborhood park, which makes it an easy place to host a team party after a game. There are restrooms and a drinking fountain. Franklin Elementary is about a quarter mile away.
Franklin South's markets
Franklin South has long been one of the more affordable places to rent or buy inside Provo, and one of the most convenient for anyone whose day involves I-15. Its markets and taquerias are within a walk or a short bike ride of the park.
