Lakeshore Bridge Trailhead is a small stop on Lakeshore Drive where the Provo River Trail crosses toward the lake: a lot, restrooms, a drinking fountain, picnic tables and a way down to the river. It is the practical place to start a ride on the lower river, with the Provo River Delta and Utah Lake State Park a short pedal west.

Before you go
The stretch of trail from Lakeshore Drive to Utah Lake State Park is the part Utah County is repaving with money from the delta project, and as of September 2026 that work had not started, so expect rough, root-heaved surface and gravel toward the state park. The section from Lakeshore Drive to the pedestrian bridge by Delta Gateway Park was being paved earlier in the summer.
