Lakeview Park opened in 2011 next door to Lakeview Elementary, in Lakeview North, the northwest corner of Provo that our neighborhood guide calls the city's fastest-changing edge: former farmland filling with new subdivisions, with the new Provo High campus about a quarter mile away.

Using the park
At more than nine acres, it has lighted tennis courts, a soccer field, a playground, grills, a reservable pavilion with power and lights, restrooms and a 71-space lot. It is also the nearest park with restrooms and courts for families at Harbor Park, about 0.6 miles away.
Where it sits
Lakeview North runs from the Orem border south to about 820 North, and from I-15 west to around 3000 West, with Lakeview Parkway and its trail running the length of the city's west side toward the airport. About a third of a mile from the park stands the Lakeview Tithing Office, an 1899 brick building that began as Leslie Bunnell's creamery and is now on the National Register of Historic Places.
