Lakeview South

West Provo between the new subdivisions and the older river-side streets

Lakeview South is the quieter half of the Lakeview pair: less of the brand-new subdivision energy of Lakeview North, more of west Provo's older pattern of larger lots, established homes and agricultural remnants. It is close to the Provo River corridor and to Utah Lake, and it is one of the parts of the city where you can still find a genuinely large parcel.

Where it is

West Provo south of Lakeview North, generally between Geneva Road and the lake side of the city. The city's neighborhood map is the authority on the exact lines.

The housing

A mix of older single-family homes on large lots, newer infill subdivisions, and parcels still in agricultural use. Rental stock is limited.

Schools

Provo City School District, with Lakeview and Westridge elementaries and Provo High on this side of the city. Attendance boundaries change and the district is the only authority on them, so confirm any address with Provo City School District before you count on a school.

Getting around

Geneva Road and Lakeview Parkway are the main routes; I-15 is roughly five to ten minutes east. This is a driving neighborhood.
