Lakewood Park is a three-acre playground park in Lakewood, the southwest quadrant of Provo, which our neighborhood guide describes as a neighborhood in the middle of becoming something: former farmland where new subdivisions are still going up. The park is what the neighborhood has for now, a place to walk the children to.

What to know before you go
The city's data lists only a playground: no restrooms, no pavilion and no off-street lot, and the city takes no reservations here. For a party or a game, the nearest parks with more are about 0.8 miles away: Franklin Park, with restrooms, a soccer field and a lighted pavilion, and Footprinters Park, with softball fields and a big lot. The city's parks list gives the address as 400 West 1300 South; its park data puts it at 480 West.
