The American Fork Fitness Center, at 454 N. Center St., is the city's recreation center, with a competition pool, a leisure pool and a hot tub, plus the fitness floor and track. Adults pay $6 for a day pass. The one thing to know before you bring kids: the leisure pool is closed until May 2027.

The pools
The city says the center "houses a competition pool, a leisure pool and a hot tub." In summer the pool area opens to the outdoors; in colder months the competition pool and hot tub are enclosed so they can be used year-round. The leisure pool is closed until May 2027, according to the city's aquatics page.
Open swim pauses every day from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. for swimming lessons, and Friday and Saturday times can shift for meets and events. Call before a family trip. If you need a leisure pool this winter, the Lehi Legacy Center has a lazy river and slide, and Orem's Family Fitness Center has a leisure pool with a lazy river.
