Food Halls and the Food-Truck Calendar in Utah Valley: Why There Is No Food Hall Yet, Where the Trucks Gather Each Week, and What Runs in Winter

Utah County has no dedicated food hall yet. Here are the closest things, the nearest halls in Salt Lake, and the weekly food-truck nights by day and season.

The short answer to the first half of this page's title: Utah County does not have a dedicated food hall, as of October 2026. Searches of Google's business listings for a food hall in Provo, Orem, Lehi and every other county city turned up a mall food court, a campus food court and an event venue in Pleasant Grove that calls itself a food truck park. The closest real food halls are about 50 minutes north by car, in Salt Lake City and Holladay.

The food trucks fill the gap, but on a calendar. They gather on summer evenings around farmers markets and city events, thin out in the fall, and mostly go quiet from November to spring. Below: the closest things to a food hall here, the halls worth the drive, and the weekly food-truck nights by day of the week and season.

For the trucks themselves, the licensing law that lets them roam, and the ones that hold fixed spots in Provo, see our Provo and Orem food truck guide.

The closest things to a food hall in Utah County

Grove Station, 273 North County Boulevard, Pleasant Grove. An event venue that bills itself as a "food truck park," with its own soda shop. Its public-events page lists a weekly pattern: on Tuesday, a food truck from 5 to 9 p.m., family trivia at 6, team trivia at 7 ($2 a person, or $8 with unlimited fountain drinks), and country swing dancing from 8:30 p.m. to midnight ($8). The Wednesday Utah Flower Market runs April to October and was closed for the season in October 2026. The soda shop keeps weekday hours and closes on weekends.

Seasons Food Court, University Place, 575 East University Parkway, Orem. The mall's food court, which University Place's site points to for "something quick." Google lists it open 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday to Saturday and closed on Sunday, though the mall itself opens Sunday afternoon.

Cougareat, BYU campus. The campus food court. Its Google hours are short and irregular (Monday, Thursday and Friday 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. in October 2026), and it is a campus amenity rather than a destination.

None of these is a food hall in the usual sense: a building of independent kitchens with shared seating. If one opens in the county, this page will say so.

The food halls worth the drive

All four are in Salt Lake County, about 44 miles and 51 to 54 minutes from downtown Provo by car without traffic, by OpenStreetMap routing. Hours are as Google listed them in October 2026 unless noted.

Food hall Address Hours Sunday
Block Party Holladay 4044 S 2700 E, Holladay 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., 9 Fri–Sat Closed
HallPass 153 S Rio Grande St, Salt Lake City 11 a.m. to 9 p.m., 11 Fri–Sat Open
Woodbine Food Hall 545 W 700 S, Salt Lake City 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. daily Open
Sugar House Station 2155 S Highland Dr, Salt Lake City 11 a.m. to 10 p.m., midnight Fri–Sat Noon to 8 p.m.

HallPass is the one you can reach by train. It sits at The Gateway, which HallPass describes as Utah's first locally curated downtown food hall, within walking distance of the Salt Lake Central station, where FrontRunner from Provo ends. Its own site gives the same hours as Google. Remember that FrontRunner runs Monday through Saturday only. Our Salt Lake City day trip by FrontRunner and our Delta Center game-night guide cover the walk from the platform.

Block Party Holladay is the closest to Utah County by car, in a Holladay neighborhood at 4044 South 2700 East, and the only one of the four closed on Sunday. Woodbine and Sugar House Station are both open seven days.

The weekly food-truck nights, by day

These are the recurring gatherings with published schedules. Most run in summer only. Dates are for 2026 unless noted, from the organizer's own page or a dated listing.

The year, month by month

Months What runs Where
November to March Provo's winter market (Saturdays); Grove Station Tuesdays; Christkindlmarkt in December Provo Towne Centre; Pleasant Grove; Provo Historic Courthouse
April to May Food Truck League says most League Nights start in spring; Orem's Wednesday market opens in May County-wide
June to August Peak: Monday Fundays, the Sunset markets, the Provo market, city festivals Saratoga Springs, Springville, Orem, Lindon, Provo
September to October Markets wind down, most by late October Same, shorter hours

The Provo Farmers Market's site lists its winter market on Saturdays, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., at Provo Towne Centre from November 21 to December 19 and January 9 to March 27, and the Utah Valley Christkindlmarkt at the Provo Historic Courthouse, 51 South University Avenue, Thursday to Saturday, December 10 to 12, noon to 9 p.m.

The festivals that bring trucks

City festivals draw the largest clusters of trucks each year, and several cities hire them through the Food Truck League. Saratoga Springs, for one, lists food trucks at its Splash Days teen and family nights in June; our Splash Days guide has the schedule. Provo's Freedom Festival, built around the Fourth of July, is the biggest single gathering of the year.

Finding a truck on any given day

The Food Truck League runs a truck finder map and an events calendar on its site; in October 2026 that calendar's daily Utah lunches were all in Salt Lake City (the Gallivan Center and the University of Utah). For Utah County, the most reliable daily option is a truck with a fixed spot, which our food truck guide describes, or the truck's own Instagram. The League says it has worked more than 100,000 events in Utah over more than 10 years and books trucks for catering and office lunches.

Fewer. In its calendar for October 19 to November 18, 2026, the Food Truck League listed no Utah County events; its nearest League Nights were in Daybreak, South Jordan. The summer market ran Saturdays 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. from June 6 to September 26, 2026, and 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. from October 3 to October 31, at Pioneer Park, 500 West Center Street. In 2026 the farmers market ran June 15 to September 28, and the page already lists the 2027 series as June 7 to August 9, Mondays 5 to 9 p.m.
Can I hire a food truck for an event in Utah County?
Yes. The Food Truck League books trucks for catering and office lunches across Utah and backs bookings with what it calls a hassle-free guarantee. Many trucks also book directly; our food-truck guide explains Utah's mobile-business licensing, which lets one city's license work in others.
