What stands out

Lehi's climb. In the 2020 estimates base, Orem had about 22,000 more people than Lehi. Five years later Lehi is ahead, having grown 25.6% while Orem shrank 2.9%. The margin is small enough that the next year's estimates could flip it back.

The west side carried the growth. Eagle Mountain and Saratoga Springs together added about 46,600 people since 2020, nearly half of the county's growth. The Census Bureau's release ranked Eagle Mountain ninth among the fastest-growing U.S. cities of 20,000 or more between 2024 and 2025, at 8.5%.

The south county is catching up. Mapleton (+43.3%), Santaquin (+38.4%) and Salem (+31.6%) grew faster than Lehi in percentage terms since 2020.

The core is flat. Provo, Orem, Pleasant Grove, Springville and Cedar Hills all lost people between 2024 and 2025 in the Census Bureau's estimates.
