Your first UVU student ID card is free. You submit a photo online, then pick the card up at Campus Connection in the Sorensen Student Center. The card carries a free UTA pass good on buses, TRAX, FrontRunner and the UVX line, as long as you're registered for at least one credit. A lost card costs $20 to replace.

Everything below is from UVU Campus Connection's ID card, replacement and transit pages, read Nov. 7, 2026.

Getting your card

  1. Submit a photo and your identification online. The photo needs a solid background. If you don't have a U.S. government-issued photo ID, UVU's "Verify Your Identity" page lists alternatives.
  2. Wait for approval, then pick up the card at Campus Connection, room SC-106F in the Sorensen Student Center, across from the UVU Post Office. UVU says cards print when you visit, submit an order or schedule an appointment, and recommends the appointment.
  3. Or have it mailed: First Class (one to three days) is $1, Priority (one to two days) is $15.

Questions: 801-863-8797. Concurrent enrollment students need to be registered for UVU classes first.
