What Wedding Hair and Makeup Cost in Utah Valley: Bride, Trial, Bridesmaids and the Early-Morning Fee, From Artists' Price Lists (2026)

Published Utah bridal hair and makeup prices: bride $250 to $400, trials $290 to $400, bridesmaids $100 to $300, plus travel and early-start fees.

Bridal hair and makeup in Utah Valley is priced in two pieces that most couples forget are separate: the trial, often done on the day of bridal photos, and the wedding morning itself. Then come the bridesmaids, the mothers, and the fees for an early start and for the artist's drive. A handful of artists publish all of it. We read their price lists on October 20, 2026. Every figure below is the artist's own, as published that day.

For airbrush versus traditional, timing the morning and what to ask an artist, read our wedding hair and makeup guide. This page is the price list.

The bride

Artist (base) Service Published price
Glam I Do (American Fork) Wedding day, hair and makeup, 2 hours $400 plus a $100 deposit
Glam I Do Bridal makeup only $250
Color Me Pretty Please (Utah and Salt Lake counties) Bridal package: trial plus wedding-day makeup $400
Color Me Pretty Please Signature package: color analysis, trial, wedding-day makeup $500
Yulia Wilcox Hair & Makeup (Provo) Bridal a la carte from $250
Utah Bridal Hair and Makeup (Utah) Bridal hair / bridal makeup $170+ each
Empire Beauty Studios (Sandy) Three bridal packages $600, $800, $1,200

Yulia Wilcox also sells "fully inclusive" bridal packages without publishing the price. Color Me Pretty Please's packages are makeup only. Color Me Pretty Please's page also shows lower figures in its search-engine summary than on the page itself ($300 for bridal packages); the page shows $400.

Empire Beauty Studios is in Salt Lake County, not Utah Valley; it is included because it publishes a complete price list for comparison, and its two higher packages include an in-person trial.

The trial

Artist Service Published price
Glam I Do Trial run or bridals package, hair and makeup, 2 hours $400
Utah Bridal Hair and Makeup Trial or bridal-photo hair and makeup $290 to $325+
Color Me Pretty Please Included in the $400 and $500 packages

Two of these artists sell the trial and the bridals session, the portraits taken in the dress before the wedding, as one appointment. Booked that way, the trial is a full session with photos, and it is priced like one. Our wedding photography prices guide covers the photographer's side of bridals.

Bridesmaids, mothers and flower girls

Artist Service Published price
Glam I Do Bridal party, hair and makeup, 60 to 90 minutes $300 per person
Empire Beauty Studios Bridal party, hair and makeup $300 per person

Color Me Pretty Please Bridesmaids, makeup $100
Utah Bridal Hair and Makeup Flower girl hair, 12 and under $65+

None of the pages list a separate price for mothers; they are booked at the bridal-party rate.

A worked example

A bride, three bridesmaids and two mothers at Glam I Do, on location in Provo with a 7 a.m. start and two stylists:

Line Amount
Bride, wedding-day package $400
Trial on bridals day $400
Five bridal-party services at $300 $1,500
7 a.m. start, 2 stylists $200
Travel and packing (base, before mileage) $100
Total before mileage and tip $2,600

The bridal party's share is the largest line. Some bridesmaids pay for their own; deciding who pays before booking avoids an awkward conversation later. Our bridal showers and bachelorette guide covers the other costs bridesmaids carry.

How we gathered these prices

These prices also feed our Utah County Wedding Cost Study, which reports the median published price in each category. We read each artist's own price page on October 20, 2026, and copied the published figures. We did not request quotes or estimate unpublished prices. An artist appears because its prices are public, not because we rank it. If you are a Utah Valley hair or makeup artist with published prices, or a price has changed, email contact@provo.com.
