Makers' Markets and Craft Fairs in Utah Valley, All Year: The Spring, Summer and Fall Calendar Beyond the Christmas Circuit

Utah Valley's handmade markets run in all four seasons: spring boutiques, summer festival markets, fall shows and a Saturday market that runs through March.

The Christmas boutiques get the attention, but Utah Valley's handmade economy does not shut down in January. There is a spring boutique season from March to May, a run of city-festival markets in June and July, a fall season that starts the week after Labor Day, and a Saturday farmers market that keeps a handmade aisle going indoors through the end of March. This page is the calendar for all of it, built from what organizers published for 2026, so you know when to look in 2027.

For the November and December shows in detail, our guide to the Christmas boutique circuit is the companion page. This one covers the other nine months, plus the two winter events that page does not.

The year at a glance

Dates are the 2026 editions as each organizer published them in 2026. Most of these repeat in the same window each year, but none of them is guaranteed until the organizer posts it.

Spring: the boutiques come back

Holy Cow Boutique, Lindon. The organizer's calendar on FestivalNet lists four editions a year at the Lindon Community Center, and two of them fall in spring: the Spring Boutique, March 3 to 7 in 2026, and a Mother's Day Boutique, April 28 to May 2. Both ran Tuesday through Saturday. If you only know Holy Cow from its November show, the spring editions are the same format at the start of the year, with the gift calendar pointed at Easter and Mother's Day instead of Christmas. To make your own spring pieces from local materials, see our spring craft ideas.

The Beehive Bazaar, Provo. The Bazaar describes itself as more than 20 years of handmade markets in Provo, four markets a year, more than 150 Utah makers and free admission, always. It now runs at its own venue, The Beehive, at 1595 North Freedom Boulevard. The Daily Herald's events calendar listed the spring 2026 market from May 2 to 9, open 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. One thing that surprises first-timers: the Bazaar uses a central checkout, and its vendors do not staff their booths. You shop the whole room and pay once at the front, which also means the person who made the earrings is usually not there to ask about them.

Utah's Own Spring Market, Pleasant Grove. The state agriculture department's Utah's Own program held its second annual spring market on Saturday, May 9, 2026, at Oliver's Place, 125 South 2000 West in Pleasant Grove, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. The department said it hosted more than 25 vendors, all members of the Utah's Own program, selling meats, bread, treats, spices and body care products. It is a food-forward market more than a craft fair, but it is one of the few spring events with a single-day, walk-in format.

Summer: the city festivals and the Saturday market

From June to August the handmade market moves outdoors and attaches itself to the city celebrations. These are the summer events where you can see a large number of makers in one place.

The Provo Farmers Market. Every Saturday at Pioneer Park, 500 West Center Street, from June 6 to September 26 (9 a.m. to 2 p.m.) and October 3 to 31 (10 a.m. to 2 p.m.) in 2026. "Artisans and Makers" is one of the market's named vendor categories, alongside farmers and food vendors, so a summer Saturday is a reliable handmade stop even in the weeks with no festival. Our Provo Farmers Market guide covers parking and the rest of the market.

Art City Days, Springville. Springville's vendor packet for its June 10 to 13, 2026 festival at Civic Center Park says most booth spaces are reserved for arts and crafts vendors, and that arts and crafts sold there must be handmade. That makes its market one of the more craft-heavy summer festival markets in the county. Our Art City Days guide has the parade and concert schedule.

Lehi Round-Up Market. Lehi's 2026 vendor handbook set the Round-Up Market at Wines Park for Friday, June 26 (11 a.m. to 7 p.m.) and Saturday, June 27 (9 a.m. to 5 p.m.). The city's vendor web page gave the dates as June 27 and 28, which does not match the 2026 calendar, so for 2027 trust the handbook and confirm the weekday. See our Lehi Round-Up guide for the rest of the week.

The Utah Valley Quilt Guild's July Fair. On Wednesday, July 15, 2026, the guild held its annual fair at The Red Barn, 2583 Main Canyon Road in Wallsburg, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. The guild's page lists a free quilt show, free quilting classes, vendors, a bake sale, a silent auction and a garage sale of fabric and "quilty" things. It is the guild's annual fundraiser and one of the few summer events aimed squarely at quilters. Our page on quilting guilds and the quilt show circuit has the guild's full year.

The Utah County Fair. July 29 to August 1, 2026, at the Spanish Fork Fairgrounds, 475 South Main, with free admission and free parking according to the fair's site, which counts more than 100 local vendors. The Daily Herald's 2025 listing for the fair included a makers market. Our Utah County Fair guide covers the rodeo and exhibit halls.

The smaller festival markets. Several city celebrations carry a boutique row or vendor market as part of a larger week, including Orem's summer festival, which our Oremfest guide says has carried roughly 50 boutique vendors. Spanish Fork's Fiesta Days has a quilt show run by a local quilting bee: the Utah Valley Quilt Guild reports that the Piecemakers bee showed more than 80 quilts outdoors at Jones-Hughes Pioneer Park on July 24.

Fall: the busiest stretch outside Christmas

The fall season starts with the biggest single market of the year and runs into October.

Swiss Days, Midway. Labor Day weekend in the Heber Valley. Utah Business reported in August 2026 that 500 to 600 businesses compete each year for a limited number of vendor spaces, that the vendor committee gives highest preference to vendors with an artisanal component, and that more than 60 vendors were taking part for the first time in 2026. It sits over the mountain from Provo, up Provo Canyon, and the crowds are large. Our Swiss Days guide covers shuttles, parking and timing.

The Springville Art Festival. September 11 (5 to 9 p.m.) and 12 (10 a.m. to 7 p.m.), 2026, at Springville's Civic Center Park. This is a juried fine-art and fine-craft show, not a general craft fair: the museum's artist packet lists categories including fiber (weaving, basketry, papermaking, leather), furniture, glass, jewelry, pottery and wood, and it says buy-and-resell goods, mass-produced items, lotions and soaps are not accepted. If you want handmade furniture or a woven piece rather than vinyl signs, this is the September event to circle.

Holy Cow Fall Boutique. September 22 to 26, 2026, at the Lindon Community Center, according to the organizer's calendar.

The Beehive Bazaar fall market. Two weeks in 2026, September 22 to 26 and September 29 to October 3, with a different vendor lineup each week, so a shopper who goes both weeks sees two different shows.

Sundance's Harvest Market. Sundance runs an autumn market in the village; the Daily Herald's calendar listed it September 27 and 28 in 2025. Our Sundance harvest season guide covers it.

Winter: the two events the Christmas guide does not cover

The Utah Valley Christkindlmarkt. New to the calendar and easy to miss: a German-inspired Christmas village of artisan chalets presented by the Provo Farmers Market and Explore Utah Valley at the Historic Utah County Courthouse, 51 South University Avenue in downtown Provo. The market's page lists Thursday to Saturday, December 10 to 12, 2026, from noon to 9 p.m., with handmade gifts from Utah makers, music in the square, German-style food and children's activities.

The winter farmers market. This is the one that fills the deep-winter gap. The Provo Farmers Market moves indoors to Provo Towne Centre, 1200 Towne Centre Boulevard, on Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.: November 21 to December 19, then a short holiday break, then January 9 to March 27. Its artisan and maker category continues indoors, and the winter market also accepts curated thrift and Provo storefront vendors. From January through March, it was the only weekly market we found where Utah Valley makers sell in person.

The rest of November and December (Holy Cow's Christmas edition, November 17 to 21; the Beehive Bazaar's holiday weeks, December 1 to 5 and 8 to 12; the Spanish Fork fairgrounds show; the Peteetneet boutique in Payson) is in our Christmas boutique guide. One more November event belongs on a quilter's list: the Holiday Quilt Show and Auction, an all-hand-quilted show that benefits Intermountain Foundation, is at The Show Barn at Thanksgiving Point in Lehi, November 10 to 12, 2026, with $10 tickets at the door or online.

How to keep up without missing the good weeks

For the buyer's side of handmade (custom orders, pricing, shipping), our local makers guide goes deeper. If you make things and want a table at one of these, our guide to getting a craft booth at Utah Valley festivals lays out the 2026 fees and deadlines show by show, and selling handmade in Utah Valley covers the tax and license rules.

Many do not. The Beehive Bazaar says admission is always free, the Utah County Fair lists free admission and parking, and the farmers markets and city festival markets are free to walk. Some private boutiques charge a small door fee; check each organizer's page.
Are any craft fairs open on Sunday?
None of the markets in this guide runs on Sunday. The boutiques run Tuesday through Saturday, the farmers market and festival markets run on Fridays and Saturdays, and the Christkindlmarkt runs Thursday to Saturday.
How do I find out about a market's dates early?
Follow the organizer, not an aggregator. The Beehive Bazaar posts its vendor lineup weeks before each show and runs a mailing list, the Holy Cow organizer keeps its dates on FestivalNet, and the city festivals publish vendor packets in late winter that give the market dates months ahead.
