Utah County was once home to a cluster of craft-supply makers, from scrapbook paper companies to the business whose cutting machine became the Cricut. A lot of that industry has moved, merged or closed. This page is a working map of what is still here in 2026, checked company by company against each one's own website or its Google listing, and an honest list of the names we could not confirm.

How we checked
For each company we looked for a current address on its own website, then compared it with Google's business listing. "Confirmed" below means the company's own site and its listing agree that it operates at a Utah County address. Where only one source exists, we say which. We did not have access to state business filings for this check, and an active filing would not prove a company still makes anything here anyway.
Confirmed: still operating in Utah County
Silhouette America, Lindon (cutting machines)
618 North 2000 West, Lindon. The address in the footer of Silhouette America's own website, and the address on its Google listing, which shows weekday hours of 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Silhouette makes the CAMEO, Portrait and Curio cutting machines, sells materials and tools, and publishes Silhouette Studio and related software. With Cricut now in South Jordan, Silhouette is the cutting-machine maker still based in Utah County. Its site directs support questions to email rather than a walk-in counter.
Riley Blake Designs, Lehi (quilting fabric)
4060 West 2100 North, Suite A, Lehi. Riley Blake describes itself as "a family-owned fabric manufacturer based in Utah" and lists this Lehi address on its contact page. It is best known for its 300-color Confetti Cotton solids, and it also sells batiks, patterns, kits and machine-embroidery designs. Its site lists collections scheduled through September 2027, which gives a sense of how far ahead fabric manufacturing runs. Google lists it as a manufacturer with weekday hours. Its site offers a store locator and free shipping on orders over $500, so to buy its fabric by the yard, start with a local quilt shop.
Echo Park Paper Company, Orem (scrapbook paper)
Google lists Echo Park Paper Company, LLC at 1226 South 1680 West, Orem, typed as a wholesaler and manufacturer, and a second listing for Echo Park Paper Co. at 1226 South 1480 West in Orem with Friday hours only. Its own website was selling current collections (paper pads, kits, ephemera) in October 2026, but we did not find a street address on it, so this one rests on the listings.
Craft Supplies USA, Provo (woodturning)
1287 East 1120 South, Provo. A woodturning supplier that sells through its Woodturners Catalog and runs the Dale L. Nish School of Woodturning in its Provo workshop. Its own site gives the Provo address, and Google lists the store as a manufacturer and supplier open weekdays. Our woodworking classes guide covers the school.
Pine Meadows, Provo (soap and lotion supplies)
1022 South 350 East, Provo, according to its website, which welcomes walk-in customers and offers soap and lotion classes. (Google places the listing at 1038 South 350 East, a few doors away.) Google lists limited pickup hours: Monday, Wednesday and Friday, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Our candle, soap and resin guide covers how makers use it.
Haven Fibers, Eagle Mountain (fiber mill)
9357 North Harvest Lane, Eagle Mountain, per Google. Its site calls it a Utah fiber and wool processing mill in Eagle Mountain "serving clients from all over the Continental United States." It processes customers' fleece into yarn and felted goods, and it is a production service rather than a shop. See our yarn shop guide.
Persnickety Prints, Orem (photo printing for scrapbookers)
190 North Orem Boulevard, per Google. Not a craft-supply maker in the usual sense, but a supplier to the memory-keeping hobby: its site sells 12-by-12 and other scrapbook-size prints, "memory pages" and photo books "made by real people in Orem, Utah," and runs a Utah craft club. Google lists it as open Monday to Saturday.
Listed, but we could not confirm
American Crafts, Orem
Google still lists American Crafts at 1530 West 1200 North, Orem, with no hours. The company owns brands including We R Memory Keepers and Bazzill, and its acquisition history is told in our scrapbooking boom history. The signals in 2026 are mixed: its website showed a notice that "our store is temporarily closed," a Google reviewer described the outlet store going out of business with steep discounts, and our history page notes WARN Act data, compiled by WARNTracker, listing a layoff of 92 workers in Orem dated April 2025. Other Google reviewers, apparently truck drivers, describe loading appointments at the warehouse. We cannot say what is happening at the site, and we will update this page when we can.
Close To My Heart, Pleasant Grove
Google lists a corporate office for Close To My Heart, the stamp and scrapbook direct-sales company, at 1199 West 700 South, Pleasant Grove. Its website did not load for us in October 2026, and Google reviewers say the company has been selling off its assets. We could not confirm its status either way.
Paper Wizard, Lindon
A BYU Magazine profile, cited in our scrapbooking history, described this kit maker moving to Lindon in 2006. We did not find a current Google listing for it in Lindon.
The neighbors: Utah craft companies outside Utah County
The craft cluster was always bigger than one county, and several of the best-known names are a short drive north. We list them so the map is complete, not because they are in Utah County.
- Cricut (cutting machines): principal offices at 10855 South River Front Parkway, South Jordan, per its annual report for 2025.
- Stampin' Up! (stamps and paper crafts): corporate office at 12907 South 3600 West, Riverton, per Google.
- Doodlebug Design (scrapbook paper and embellishments): 3630 California Avenue, Salt Lake City, per Google.
- Simple Stories (scrapbook paper): 673 West 1st Street, Ogden, per Google.
- Fancy Pants Designs (scrapbook paper): 2441 North Main Street, Clearfield, per Google.
What the map says
Three patterns stand out.
The paper-craft makers thinned the most. Of the paper-craft companies we checked, Echo Park is the one we could confirm still operating in Utah County, and American Crafts, the best known, is the one we could not.
The survivors make machines, fabric and specialist supplies. Silhouette (cutting machines), Riley Blake (fabric), Craft Supplies USA (woodturning), Pine Meadows (soap) and Haven Fibers (fiber processing) serve crafts other than paper scrapbooking.
Retail is not manufacturing. Plenty of craft businesses in the valley are stores: Pebbles in my Pocket in Orem still sells paper retail, and our craft stores guide lists the rest. Clay supplier Artistic Industries in Provo is listed by Google as a wholesaler and also runs a pottery studio; its website did not load for us, so see our pottery guide for details.
