Every entry carries facts that stay true for years: the name, the address, the city, the nearest campus, who the building houses, and who manages it. There are no rent figures anywhere in here — complexes rarely close, but their prices change every single year, and a priced directory is stale by next fall.
Nothing here asserts a complex's current BYU contracted status. That roster is BYU's, it is revised every year, and it lives at och.byu.edu. Entries marked as appearing on the 2025-2026 list are recording a published list from that year, which is a different claim from "approved today."
How to read the three groups
Single, admitted BYU undergraduates have to live in BYU contracted housing, BYU on-campus housing, or with family for their first two consecutive semesters. That requirement is the reason this market is shaped the way it is: a set of properties contracts with the university, a second set markets hard to the same students without being on the list, and a third set is simply apartments. Mixing the three up is the single most expensive mistake a first-year student makes here, because a contract signed at the wrong kind of building does not satisfy the requirement and does not refund itself.
UVU has no equivalent requirement and no dorms, so the Orem corridor works like a normal student rental market. If you are comparing the two campuses, that structural difference matters more than any individual building does.
