Provo has a nightlife page, and it is long: Provo nightlife covers Velour, the comedy clubs, BYU's free performances and the library and rec center hours night by night. This page is the rest of Utah County after dark, from Lehi and American Fork down through Orem and Vineyard, organized around the question people ask at 9:30 on a Friday: what is still open?

The hours below come from each place's Google listing, checked October 20, 2026. They are the posted hours, not a promise; holiday weeks and summer change them. Call before you drive anywhere after 11.

Read this first: Sunday night

Utah County largely closes on Sunday. Of the late-night places on this page, Miracle Bowl, Jack and Jill Lehi, Nickel City, Nickelmania, Classic Skating, both Orem escape rooms and the Lehi Legacy Center list Sunday as closed. What stays open closes early: the Rush Funplex at 8 p.m., Jack and Jill American Fork at 9 p.m., Momentum Lehi at 6 p.m. Topgolf in Vineyard is the exception, listed until 11 p.m. on Sunday. Most of the county's evening activities are open until at least 9 on weeknights.

Lehi Legacy Center, 123 North Center Street, Lehi: Monday through Friday until 9 p.m., Saturday until 8, closed Sunday.

Nickel City, 1515 South State Street, Orem: arcade, until 11 p.m. Monday through Thursday, midnight Friday and Saturday, closed Sunday. It sits a block from Miracle Bowl, so the two make one evening.
Nickelmania, 1000 North State Street, Orem: arcade, until 11 p.m. Monday through Thursday, midnight Friday and Saturday, closed Sunday.
Momentum Indoor Climbing Lehi, 401 South 850 East: until 11 p.m. Monday through Friday, 10 p.m. Saturday, 6 p.m. Sunday.
Red Giant Escape Rooms, 1668 South State Street, Orem: Monday 6 to 11 p.m.; Friday until midnight; Saturday until 12:30 a.m.; closed Sunday.

Stages and screens

The Ruth and Nathan Hale Theater in Pleasant Grove, the company that was Hale Center Theater Orem, runs evening shows; see Hale Center Theater Orem is now The Ruth for the move and how a night there works.
SCERA Center for the Arts, 745 South State Street, Orem, has live theater and film, and in summer the SCERA Shell outdoor theater; see the SCERA Shell guide.
Every stage in the county, from community theater to campus, is in live theater in Utah Valley.
Drive-ins: we did not find one in Utah County. The nearest are the Basin Drive-In in Mount Pleasant (about 56 miles, 73 minutes from downtown Provo) and the Erda Drive-In near Tooele (about 69 miles, 90 minutes; its listing shows Friday and Saturday evenings), by OSRM estimates without traffic. In summer, outdoor movie nights in Utah County parks are the closer option.

Summer evenings, free

Orem Summer Concert Series: Wednesday nights at 7 p.m. with the Orem Farmers Market, July 1 to August 19 in 2026. Orem calls it completely free.
American Fork Concerts in the Park: Monday evenings at the American Fork Amphitheater, June 29 to August 17 in 2026, with each concert at 7 p.m. and food trucks from 6:30, per the Harrington Center for the Arts.

Outdoors after dark

Utah Lake State Park stays open until 10 p.m. from April through October and 8 p.m. from November through March, per Utah State Parks. Sunset over the lake is the reason to go.
Dark skies. Eagle Mountain adopted a Dark Skies Initiative in 2014 and says it follows International Dark-Sky Association standards to reduce light pollution. For a properly dark sky, three state parks within two hours are designated International Dark Sky Parks: Rockport, East Canyon and Antelope Island. One plan per kind of night

Friday, a group of students, not much money: Nickel City and Miracle Bowl, a block apart on State Street in Orem, both open until midnight.
Saturday date, late: Topgolf in Vineyard, open until 1 a.m., then food from the 24-hour list. Our date night activities page has the rest.
Weeknight with kids: Hang Time or Classic Skating in Orem before 9, or the Lehi Legacy Center.
A summer Monday or Wednesday: the free concerts in American Fork or Orem at 7.
Sunday: Topgolf if you must be indoors; otherwise the lake, the stars or the temple grounds.

Back Nine Golf's indoor simulator locations in Lehi, American Fork and Orem list 24-hour hours, and Rancherito's on Center Street in Orem lists itself as open 24 hours.

What is open on Sunday night in Utah Valley?

Very little. Of the places in this guide, Miracle Bowl, Jack and Jill Lehi, Nickel City, Nickelmania, Classic Skating, the escape rooms and the Lehi Legacy Center list Sunday as closed. Utah State Parks lists Utah Lake State Park's hours as 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. from April 1 through October 31 and 6 a.m. to 8 p.m. from November 1 through March 31.

What is there to do at night in Utah County that is not in Provo?

Most of the late-night entertainment is in Orem, along State Street and University Parkway, and in Lehi and American Fork: bowling, arcades, laser tag, skating, escape rooms, indoor golf and climbing. Are there free things to do at night in Utah Valley?

In summer, yes: Orem's free Wednesday concert series starts at 7 p.m. alongside the farmers market, and American Fork's Monday Concerts in the Park start at 7 p.m. at the amphitheater. Year-round, the free options are mostly outdoors: temple grounds, the lakeshore until the state park closes, and dark-sky drives.
