The Ivory Hall, Provo: A Full-Day Downtown Room, Its Published Prices and What the Rental Includes

The Ivory Hall on Center Street in Provo: 2026 day rates, the 4,000-square-foot hall, what's included, the open vendor policy and the walk from the temple.

The Ivory Hall is a single bright room on Center Street, rented by the whole day, with tables, chairs and a decor library already inside. It is about an 8-minute walk from the Provo City Center Temple. It publishes its prices, which is unusual in this market, and lets you bring your own caterer, which keeps the total flexible. The trade-off is size: one hall, comfortable for a couple of hundred seated.

Everything here comes from The Ivory Hall's own website, checked in October 2026. Prices and inclusions change; confirm before you book.

The basics

Capacity: two numbers

The homepage calls it "a 4,000-square-foot wedding venue built for celebrations up to 300 guests." The weddings page lists "seating for up to ~200 guests," and the inventory includes 200 chairs. Read together: around 200 seated, more for a come-and-go reception where guests are standing and circulating. If your list is bigger, see the Utah Valley Convention Center, a few blocks east.

Published 2026 prices

From the pricing page, as listed in October 2026:

Add-ons:

Students: the venue says it reserves "a few dates each year for student budgets." Ask.

What the rental includes

The pricing page's inventory, in brief:

The weddings page adds a sparkler send-off kit, a cake stand and cake cutting set, and cleanup after the event.

Bring your own vendors

The venue describes an "open vendor policy": you choose your caterer, DJ and photographer. That is the main reason its rental can be lower than a bundled package elsewhere, and the reason to budget catering separately. Our guides to catering in Provo and Orem and wedding DJs and bands are starting points. For the published prices of both, see wedding catering prices and wedding DJ and band prices.

How couples use it on a temple day

The 13-hour rental lets one room carry the whole day after a Provo City Center sealing: decorate in the morning, walk over for a luncheon, reset, then host a ring ceremony and an evening open-house reception. A couple quoted on the homepage says the venue "was large enough for our luncheon and reception."

Who it suits: downtown temple weddings, couples who want to pick their own caterer, guest lists up to a couple of hundred seated.

Who it does not: very large open houses, couples who want an outdoor garden, or those who want one vendor to do everything.
