The wedding luncheon is the meal after the sealing or ceremony, usually for family and close friends, and the hard part is finding a room that seats the right number at midday. These ten restaurants and halls publish their capacity and either a price or a minimum. We read each venue's own pages on October 20, 2026.
For how the luncheon works, who comes and what to serve, start with our wedding luncheon venues guide.

Magleby's: the restaurant option
Magleby's is the one full-service restaurant on the list, with rooms at its Springville and Pleasant Grove locations. From its events page:
- No room fee. You pay per guest for the menu, plus a service charge and tax, and must reach the room minimum: $2,500 on weekdays and $3,500 on Friday and Saturday, rising to $4,000 and $5,000 in December.
- What's served: every menu includes breadsticks, salad, an entrée, sides, water and lemonade. Guests choose chicken, beef or fish on arrival, and receive a place card for it; dietary alternatives with notice.
- Kids 4 to 14 are $15; 3 and under free.
- Time: two to three hours; extra time $300 an hour weekdays, $500 weekends.
- Money: $300 nonrefundable deposit; final count and payment (less $100) a week before; 3% card fee; no gratuity included.
- Changes: $50 fee within four days; cancellations within three days may be billed up to 75%.
- Setup: Springville's FAQ says linens and floral centerpieces are provided and full-Grotto rentals include a microphone, projector and two TVs. Pleasant Grove's FAQ says you may bring your own decor or centerpieces and lists no linens or AV, so ask.
Halls for a bring-your-own-food luncheon
The cheapest rooms are halls where the family or a caterer brings the food:
- Southworth Hall, $600 for three hours, a block from the Provo City Center Temple.
- The Rooftop, Setting 2, $750 from 9 a.m. to noon in Lehi, listed as a shower package; ask whether it can host a luncheon. Its standard Setting 2 rental is $2,500 weekdays for 1 to 11 p.m.
- The Venue at The Ranches, $700 weekday for its 60-seat dining hall.
- Event Center at The Oaks, three hours from $750 on weekdays, with any food allowed.
Watch the kitchen rules: Bravo has no oven, The Ranches charges $500 for kitchen access, Copper Creek charges $120 when anyone but a licensed caterer uses its kitchen, and Hobble Creek's outside caterers cannot use the Sand Trap Cafe kitchen.
Timing it after the sealing
Work back from the sealing time, add photos, and measure the drive at that hour. Our temple pages give the drives: Provo City Center, Mount Timpanogos, Orem and Payson.
