Reception venues in Utah Valley price by the day of the week, and the gap is large: the same room can cost twice as much on a Saturday as on a Tuesday. We read 20 venues' published rates on October 20, 2026. Every figure below is the venue's own, as published that day, for a 2026 date unless noted. Most venues update rates every year; confirm for your date.
For how to choose a venue, what to ask on the tour and how parking shapes an open-house reception, read our venues guide and the reception centers by city list. This page is the price list.

Packages that include the food
Two venues sell the room and the meal together, which changes the comparison.
| Venue | Package | Published price |
|---|---|---|
| Utah Valley Convention Center (Provo) | Reception | $28.95 per person |
| Utah Valley Convention Center | Lunch | $41.95 per person |
| Utah Valley Convention Center | Dinner | $49.95 per person |
| The Chillon (Spanish Fork) | Option A, full service | $4,999 |
The Convention Center's prices are per person plus its current management charge and taxes, with the room rental included; the reception and dinner packages add floor-length linens, a dance floor and staging. Booking the Timpanogos Terrace outdoors adds $1,500 for a required indoor backup room. Its contracts carry a zero-cancellation policy. Our Convention Center weddings guide covers the rooms and the walk from the Provo City Center Temple.
The Chillon's $4,999 Option A includes a decorated venue, tables and chairs, centerpieces and wedding-party flowers, a cake, catering with four menu choices for 50 to 200 guests, and setup and cleanup. Its DIY rental is quoted on request. See our Chillon profile.
What the rental includes
This is where cheap and expensive venues stop being comparable. Before you compare two prices, check whether each one includes:
- Tables, chairs and linens. The Bright Building and The Startup Building each include 15 tables and 150 folding chairs. The Ivory Hall includes 200 chairs, 15 banquet tables and six catering tables. Orion includes 200 chairs and 20 round tables. Sleepy Ridge includes floor-length linens in any color.
- Decor. The Ivory Hall lists runners, 90 electric candles, 90 vases, 30 garlands, 60 bud vases and two arches. Sleepy Ridge includes centerpieces. The Bright Building includes a decorative arch and cafe lights.
- Sound. Most halls above list a sound system or speakers, and most a microphone; ask before you book; The Ivory Hall sells a $300 dance floor package with party speakers.
- Setup and cleanup. Included at The Ivory Hall, Orion, Sleepy Ridge, The Northampton House, The Rooftop and Sun River Gardens. At The Startup Building cleanup is yours, with supplies provided. At The Bright Building you can do it yourself free or pay a fee.
- A kitchen. All list a prep or warming kitchen for an outside caterer.
Fees on top of the rental

| Setup the night before | The Bright Building | $350 |

Deposits and cancellations
The Bright Building takes a non-refundable 50% deposit at booking and says up to half of it may be refunded if the date can be rescheduled. Sleepy Ridge takes 50% of the rental, non-refundable and non-transferable, with the balance due two weeks before the event. The Startup Building requires a deposit without stating the amount, and says weekends typically book out one to two months ahead and weekdays two to four weeks. Our vendor contracts guide explains what to read before you sign.
Three ways to spend less on the room
- Pick a weeknight. At The Bright Building and The Startup Building, Monday through Wednesday costs about half of Saturday; the gap is smaller elsewhere. If your sealing falls on a weekday, a reception that evening is priced at the lower rate; our wedding season guide shows the busy months.
- Hold the luncheon and the reception in one place. Sleepy Ridge's $3,000 weekday luncheon rental or a full-day hall rental can cover both events. Our guide to the luncheon versus the reception weighs one event against two.
- Consider a backyard or the meetinghouse. Our reception center or backyard comparison prices out the rentals a backyard needs, and the civil and non-temple weddings guide explains the meetinghouse option.

How we gathered these prices
These prices also feed our Utah County Wedding Cost Study, which reports the median published price in each category. We read each venue's own pricing page on October 20, 2026, and copied the published figures. We did not request quotes or estimate unpublished rates. The Belvedere, Hobble Creek Events, Wadley Farms and River Bridge Event Center did not show prices on the pages we could read and are not compared here. A venue appears because its prices are public, not because we rank it. If you run a Utah Valley venue with published rates, or a price has changed, email contact@provo.com.
